Starbucks Christmas drinks are out!

Just had my first eggnog latte of the season :) apologies if this has already been done, I couldn't see it on the topic. The Christmas drinks started today.

Oh yay I used to work in Starbucks whilst at university and as soon as the red cups came in I knew it was officially Christmas time

There was a TNL as a code written on the side of a cup in my local SBs this morning, I just couldn't see round it to the explanation. Eggnog latte was coded EL. So I suspect TNL could well have been Toffee Nut Latte.

They still have the posters up though for Pumpkin Spice Lattes - PSL!!

Not Starbucks, but Costa had an amazing black forest hot chocolate. I'm hoping that returns this year.

Oooh gingerbread latte. All that needs to happen now is for Pret's Christmas sandwich to appear on the shelves then I know it's definitely nearly Christmas....just annoying I can't have them both in the same shop!!

Boycotting Starbucks now. They're backing Monsanto in their bid to sue the American state of Vermont to get them to change their recent ruling that GM ingredients should be included on the label. Monsanto don't want this because they fear it will affect their profits, y'know, because some people might not want to eat GM ingredients.

Costa's christmas drinks are out the 6th of November, I believe, as I got an email about them coming out that evening.

But I will point out for those of you waiting for a gingerbread latte from Starbucks at Christmas..... Costa has gingerbread latte all year round. They're my favourite.

According to the email Costa are doing the Black Forest hot chocolate this year. Honey and almond hot chocolate sounds lush.

I suspect I should boycott them because I'll bet they're still not paying their full share of taxes; they are hideously corporate; and I think there is something else, too ....

From the very vague cafe Nero website I'm guessing there's going to be the amaretto latte, a roasted chestnut latte, a praline latte and white chocolate mocha.

Bit annoyed about those as being nut allergic that leaves me the mocha. And I'm not keen on white chocolate

I won't go to Starbucks anyway, as I'm not horribly impressed with their business practices. (although yes, when I lived in the states, I did go there - but admittedly didn't know much about them then)

I go to Costa or local coffee shops. Costa because I can get that lovely gingerbread latte anytime I want... and they have tasty lemon cake.
