I was thinking a karaoke machine that can double up as a cd player might be fun to sing Xmas carols/ songs to, any suggestions? We are not very techno-literate and have an ancient tv so I was thinking that it might be useful to have some feedback about how easy it is to link up and see the words etc. A new CD player is likely to cost £50 or so,I am thinking that we might as well go karaoke.

Hi OP.
I bought Dd a Goodmans karaoke machine from the coop electrical online. it was around £30- was £50 on Amazon. It's purple with led lights (disco effect) comes with one mic and leads to link to tv if you want to for words etc. I will try and link it for you.
