My Booths Christmas Book has just arrived!

Cue lots of drooling as I peruse it's pages. Anyone else get one?

Mmmmmm, Furness three game roast.

Mmmmmm, chocolate!

I got mine two weeks ago! It must cost them a fortune to produce. We've not thrashed out Christmas plans yet but if we're hosting then I'm off to Booths!

DH being the miserable fucker that he is just said "I'd rather have a £5 voucher than the book.

I can see his point, but this is food porn of the highest quality. I'm definitely buying some mini cheesecakes this year. I wanted the Turkish delight cheese cake last year, but they only had a serves 16 party one. This year they're going to me my treat to myself.

You should definitely treat yourself. I'd like a hamper (for the nice basket) not sure I can justify that. The ready to cook veg box looks v good and surprisingly cheap for Booths. It would save a lot of faff! I'm quite tempted by the whole cheeses too. I could wrap one up for dh!

I have drooled over mine and made friends very jealous - Waitrose has nothing on this. I only have a Booth's card as I visit my parents (in Windermere) frequently and I didn't want withdrawal symptoms from Waitrose free tea and newspapers!

Just had a looksie online , very Envy we're nowhere near a Booths either.

I had a look at Betty's online and was Envy at people living in Yorkshire for that too. (DH and I had coffee and croissants there pre-DC)

Do many local people go to Bettys though or mainly tourists? I live in Essex and TBH , I've never bought from Selfridge Foodhall, Harrods Foodhall or Patisserie Valerie. I expect most of their custom is tourism.

Ooh I've just seen there's a store in Cheshire!

This may hurt the bank balance a little Grin

Lots of locals go to Betty's- well every branch except the middle of York!

I love booths too. Spent a happy evening yesterday ordering stuff for Xmas. Btw you can order their hampers online, and Betty's....

They're doing delivery to anywhere in the country this year. That's a new thing. I'm making a long list and will be shortening it down.

I'd really like one of the multi bird roasts, but there's sod all chance the DCs would eat it. The chocolate malt cake may make the cut though.

Soooo many lovely things. I go to my local booths for Cumberland swirl in a bun sometimes. it's delish.

Love Booths. They have foods that are real treats. Try Lathams desserts which are awesome. Their sausages are delicious. Erm...actually I am very impressed with their veg as it is so fresh.

Oh and love a cheeky free coffee after school run!

The only reason I insist on going to the Lakes for holidays is so that I can go to Booths Grin.

I picked up mine in Knutsford last week. I paused to admire the Misted Veg display and had a chat with the wine fellow (no Puilly Fume, shocked face from me, fulsome apols from him).

Love love love Booths.

It is indeed a marvel of the supermarket world, but I tend to spend a bit too much when I nip in for stuff. Its the local food that does it for me. Waberthwaite sausages? Why I don't mind if I do!

Have spent naptime drooling over this. Had never come across Booths before.
Are there any other Christmas magazine/catalogues that I'm missing out on?!

What is Booths please? All the threads I've seen mentioning it make me think it is a shop I would really really like, but I've never seen one. Do we have them in London?
