Best wooden kitchen?

I bought a Disney plastic kitchen 2 years ago and totally hate it. The oven door opens downwards and doesn't stay shut, the knobs come off it touched and my DD's don't play with it. (And I think it was about £100 despite being rubbish!)

I want to get them a nice wooden kitchen this Christmas and am looking for recommendations Smile

Ikea do a lovely one, with lots of matching accessories.

DD has got a fab one from Costco, the brand is Kidkraft. It's really sturdy and a very good size, cost about £84. They have the updated version in this year as well and it looks really good, it's the kidkraft deluxe culinary kitchen.

We have a GLTC one almost the same as this: www.gltc.co.uk/sunshine-play-kitchen/play-kitchen/gltc/fcp-product/10003086

We have had it 6 years this Christmas and it still looks like new, and is still played with all the time. (Youngest is now nearly 8.) It is big but very sturdy. It was also rather cheaper 6 years ago, but has been good value as we have had so much use out of it. Was a joint present.

Another vote for ikea. It comes with adjustable height feet too so it can grow with your children. The accessories they sell are cute too.

We have a KidKraft one (bought from Mothercare) which is great, DD loves it and it's really sturdy. The Ikea one is brilliant for the price though.

We have the asda one and it's played with every day. It's pretty good for the price. If we hadn't got that we would have gone for the ikea one

We have the Ikea one and the children love it. I like it because it is very sturdy and the neutral colours means you don't always see it iykwim.
