Family members have started to ask me what dd would like for Christmas and I never know what to suggest. We are making her a wooden shop/puppet theatre and will get her a few bits as well, probably games to play and accessories for her shop. People usually want to buy a toy and I'm crap at giving ideas. DH'S family in particular like a big list to choose from. I have previously suggested that people get whatever they would like to and gave been told off for being unhelpful!

Does she like a particular tv show? DS will probably be getting a variety of Octonauts and postman pat toys. He already has quite a few postman pat toys that he plays lovely imaginative games with, so we know these are a success!

My 3 year old likes the busy books which come with little figures and a playmat we have the princess and tinkerbell versions. She also likes <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_6?url=search-alias%3Dtoys&field-keywords=palace%20pets&sprefix=palace%2Caps%2C303&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">palace pets there's a few different versions to suit different budgets. Build a bear workshop is popular too, maybe a few relatives could club together to get her vouchers if there's one near you?

How about lego Duplo, a smoby big bobby ride on car, a wooden train set or a selection of little toy cars?

Thanks, all great ideas. She gravitates towards everything! She has quite a lot of character sets that she never plays with. Her favourite toys are her cuddly toy monkey, playdoh and books. She loves drawing and painting too but people tend to ignore any craft stuff I put on lists (DH thinks it is because craft stuff tends to be fairly cheap and people have a set amount that they want to spend).

Could you make an Amazon wish list and email it to them?
