Was thinking of booking for next year - my DCs will be 10 and 7 and nephew will be 3. Just wondered if anyone had done it this year and was it any good? Thanks.

Just googled this and it looks amazing - if I had £250 free, I would definitely do this!

It does look good. Was hoping I could get a review from someone who has been!

We went with our 6 and 3 year olds - it was great, despite the wind and rain! The DC absolutely loved every second of it, the hotel is everything you would hope a Legoland hotel to be - lots of attention to detail - and as child-friendly as you'd expect. All the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic, even on Christmas Eve no one seemed like they were totally unhappy to be there! Another MNer told me before we went, that FC was the best she'd seen and I agree. Expensive though!

We went for the day and thought it was very good value. The present from Santa was a very nice set of lego for each child. It is definitely the best Santa I have ever seen too.

Thank you for the reviews. I think it sounds perfect. How early in the year did you book?

We didn't book until November - there were only a couple of dates to choose from though so I'd recommend booking earlier if you're going for the hotel stay too.

Can you already book now for next year?

Puffinlover Fri 03-Jan-14 21:19:24

It's not on their website so assume not yet cazza

Home Bargains have the Lego lunch boxes reduced to £3.99 so it might be useful to buy the merchandising now cheaply rather than pay £££ in Legoland.

You could put their tickets in the lunch boxes & see if they notice them as a surprise.

That's a great idea -thank you!

Does anyone know roughly when tickets are likely to come on sale for this?
