I'm after a 50mm Babyliss Big Hair and some new bedding, what are you hoping to get?

Oblomov Tue 24-Dec-13 15:01:16

Boots. Black. Over the knee. Sexy.
But low key enough to wear to work and school run.
Can't wait for sales to start.

Nothing in particular, as I tend to buy for myself during the year and use discount codes etc where possible.

Shoes - next size up for the children, so I have them when they are needed.

Birthday presents - have a few birthdays early in the year, so I try and get something from the sales.

Xmas presents for 2014 - mainly stocking fillers for the children and OH. I pick stuff up throughout the year.

HopelessCaseNumeroUno Tue 24-Dec-13 15:24:10

I'm looking for birthday presents for the DC too, plus presents for kids birthday parties through the year, but tend to pick those up instore rather than online.

Was tempted by a very cheap scrabble and wasjig puzzle in sainsbury's yesterday but managed to step away from them as don't really need them!Am on the lookout for a few different items of clothing/footwear for myself and the kids in the sales but really mustn't spend too much.

Nothing exciting. Just next years cards and wrapping paper!

ChristmasJumperWearer Tue 24-Dec-13 19:19:56

Also next year's cards, wrapping paper, Christmas jumpers, Christmassy bits and pieces to stash away for next year.

Beamur Tue 24-Dec-13 19:21:35

I need new shoes.
Can't be arsed to do the sales though. May wander into my nearest town on Boxing Day and see if there's anything happening (it's not a big place) - got some bargains last year in Fat Face.

Polyethyl Tue 24-Dec-13 19:23:54

Boots. For walking on muddy coastal paths. Can anyone suggest a good lightweight walking boot?

BigWellyLittleWelly Tue 24-Dec-13 19:35:28

We need a new every day dinner service, the one we have is from IKEA and about seven years old. The glaze has gone and the plates are too big - given a diet is beginning in January I think some smaller plates would be a good idea!

New walking boots for me (I tend to buy lightweight goretex of any brand but usually berghaus) and a decent high quality raincoat.

DD1 will doubtless need new boots soon. On the whole though 2014 is going to financially be a tough year so a make do and mend approach needed.

DingDongUriGelleryOnHigh Tue 24-Dec-13 19:35:33

Winter coat. Down preferably, very warm with a hood. I want wind impermeable, waterproof and for it to fit my bottom half like it fits my top half grin

LegoCaltrops Tue 24-Dec-13 19:42:07

Clothes for DD (20m so it's a neverending search) & myself (lost 4st this year, woohoo!)

And, possibly, start on presents for DD & niece's birthdays.

HopelessCaseNumeroUno Tue 24-Dec-13 20:17:18

That sounds like the search for the holy grail dingdong

raisah Wed 25-Dec-13 18:22:46

VoldemortsNipple Thu 26-Dec-13 14:49:40

I've just came back from Next with a nest of tables, two pendant lights, three tops, a pair of thick leggings and a pair of boots. Dd bought herself a lovely black lace playsuit and some knitwear. And we got it all home on the bus! grin

girlywhirly Thu 26-Dec-13 17:40:16

I've just been out today and bought a Vax carpet cleaner from Argos, half price.
