What can my ds1(15) get his girlfriend for christmas?!

Ds1 wants to get his girlfriend a little present, but frankly he's useless at shopping! They're both 15 in year 11 and both very quiet! My girls are 9 & 7, so I'm not sure what older girls like!
I know it's difficult when you don't know her, but any general trends.... Thank you.

Perfume?

Skang · 21/12/2013 08:54

Jewellery?

Could he do the MN favourite and sort a movie night hamper for her?

Otherwise, at 15 I liked clothes, boys, Castaway and Take That.

My 15 year old would love any little keepsake with thought in it from her boyfriend - a little necklace or bracelet, or a sweet little trinket box. Something she can look at and think of him and show off to her girlfriends. It need not cost much, places like accessorize do nice jewellery for under a tenner.

Awwww sweet :-)

Depends on how much money he/you have to put towards it, maybe a stocking with a few little wrapped presents?

Nail varnish, perfume/smellies, earrings, a bangle, a book?

Oh a movie night hamper sounds lovely :-)

Or a nice scarf from river island or somewhere similar?

Pretty purse from Accessorize?

Pretty much anything from Accessorize, Victoria's Secrets or Sephora will be fine.

pigsinmud · 21/12/2013 09:27

Thank you. Loads of fab ideas. I'll drag him in to Accessorize this morning. I see her so briefly (shy!) that I don't know her at all, but she seems very sweet.

My 15 year old ds has bought his 15 yo Gf a Plush enderman, a minecraft zombie and a bath duck :s he seems to think she will be pleased.

Snargaluff · 21/12/2013 09:31

Victoria's Secret?!?! Surely not!

Jessica78 · 21/12/2013 10:21

Totally agree that Accessorize is the way to go! A bit of jewellery, some gloves / scarf / hat, cute keyring? I would also suggest a couple of chocolate things eg. Santa / snowman from the supermarket, or her favourite sweets etc. also for extra boyfriend points - he could make a playlist for her ( I believe that's the equivalent of a mix tape in our world ) or make a voucher for him to 'cook' her a romantic meal? Stick it all in a little stocking or pretty gift bag. Has he got her a card yet? Merry Christmas to my girlfriend & all that ( Clintons )
Bless them - hope he manages ok!

pigsinmud · 21/12/2013 10:30

Thank you. Just had to google Victoria's Secret - perhaps not Blush
Necklace and chocolate sounds good.

A book he loves?

Cerisier · 21/12/2013 16:24

The Victoria's Secret Beauty and Accessories store is the one I mean. DD15 likes the perfume they do. The one near us is full of make up and pink glittery bags. There are no undies or anything untoward!

pigsinmud · 21/12/2013 17:41

Oh ok cerisier! I hadn't even heard of the place and when I googled the main thing that came up was lingerie! He chose some little owl earrings from Accessorize and a Lindt chocolate teddy bear. I actually bought it - he selected from the website. Think it was too much for him to go in to a girly shop with his 2 little sisters in tow!

Well done DS (and OP), sounds perfect!

BillyBanter · 22/12/2013 02:27

I was going to say a festive hot water bottle. But you have resolved the issue. He can get a heart shaped one for her for Valentines
