Do i buy wired or wireless? Sennheiser, Sony, Bose...?
I am a bit clueless - any recommendations?
I have John Lewis, Argos, Bose, Currys, Tesco superstore near me (plus others).
Have left DHs present until last and am now panicking!
Many thanks

If in doubt, go to John Lewis and follow their advice. Always works for me!

Bought some Bose Bluetooth ones earlier in the year which my son says are excellent. DH has some noise blocking Bose ones with a wire which he uses loads. to block out the noise of me. Very expensive but excellent quality.

Thanks for the replies so far. Am busy googling for advice too! Also have a Richer Sounds near me so could go there and John Lewis?

Dd has some Bose ones which are fantastic -she listens to heavy rock and I can't hear anything when she is listening to it unlike when she uses her ear buds

Bower & Wilkins. Bose. Anything except Beats (over priced, over-bassy rubbish)

Bose for a grownup. Beats for a teenager.

my very musically particular husband has some skullcandy ones that say Howell on the side. padded ears and a plug in lead. HTH

Please don't buy beats or skull candy! The bass isn't driven in them properly and the sound quality is terrible.

You can't go wrong with a pair of Sennheisers. HD-25's are the best! I'd probably not go with wireless ones but it's entirely up to you.

Thanks everyone. Don't worry, no intention of buying Beats! Have phoned John Lewis and they have put a couple of pairs to one side of the ones they have limited stock in and thrn they have others for me to look at. Going there shortly.
