When we pick up the turkey on the 23rd as there is a farm shop there too.

However I bought potatoes and carrots today and these would be fine for next week if need be

Thursday, they'll be fine in the fridge.

I just bought all of those today. Will get sprouts and cream on Thursday, along with chipolatas. Turkey is in the freezer. I don't even know why I'm worrying - the national Christmas Day dish where I live is rabbit stew.

Usually a week in advance, hate the shops any closer to Xmas. All fine if you put them inthefridge.
