If you bought a tablet for under £130 for Christmas which one was it?

Argos have a few for under this price bracket but no idea what the differences are between them and what they would be like. It's for me rather than DC if that makes any difference but I can't afford to spend much more than that. DH is commandeering the laptop most evenings though so I think a tablet would come in useful. Things I would do:

  • MN
  • Facebook
  • Order photo prints online (photobox etc)
  • Ebay (buy and sell)
  • Do online food shopping (sainsburys- Morrisons in new year)

Would a basic tablet be ok with all this?
TIA

Watching with interest. We were going to try for a hudl for DD but that looks like it will be a non-starter now.

Hope to decide on something else this week but this is our price range too so will pop back....

Thanks so much for the quick replies! I read on another thread that the Kindle Fire has rubbish battery life, anyone agree?

Looking at an Acer Iconia, if anyone has any experience of this tablet?

I bought a value range economy tablet from amazon for my mum back in june and it does everything my tablet does. It is slower to load and screen is nowhere near as good but it was only about £65. If anyone is looking for a tablet on a tight budget it is worth a try.

5Foot5 They were back in store in all colours last Friday. Keep checking as they had none out but I asked if any were coming and they had literally just arrived.
