Just wondering as I am looking for ideas of what to get my best friend.

I usually get her a few different bits and pieces.

What's the beat gift your friend has got you?

Similar to Norem my friend bought me a huge furry throw for my sofa a couple of years ago. It's in constant use and the DC still fight over it :)

My hotwater bottle. Still going strong 15yrs later. She posted it out to me when I was utterly broke and not heating my home up over Winter.

Something luxurious the person would not buy themselves. Or something that you can provide fairly easily but that would cost them a lot / be difficult to arrange otherwise, like babysitting or having their kids overnight if they have no family nearby.

My BFF crocheted me an enormous granny square blanket in colours to match my living room. It took her ages and I love it. It's as big as a king size duvet! Perfect for snuggling on the sofa, and I always think of her Xmas Smile

A tartan blanket from Scotland (obviously), 20yrs on it's looking a little threadbare, but I still love it.

Same as Belganchox My friend gave me a beautiful lambswool tartan blanket in shades of purple and pink for being her bridesmaid. She also gave me a lovely box of mini treats from REN. Bliss.

One of my good friends bought us a champagne tea at a gorgeous local place. It was lovely to spend time with her, eat cake and drink champagne!

I had a lovely pair of nude heels and they got destroyed in a house fire, my friend replaced them for me. Sounds odd to say she bought me something I'd already bought myself but it meant a lot.

Can I suggest something I bought for friends?

I bought 2 friends a life adventure thermal sealed mug each - it's like a mini flask and holds a mug of tea/coffee. DH and I also have one. It's fab, we all use them all the time when sitting at the park or waiting for the kids at swimming/karate etc.. Was the best £8-12/mug I have spent and my friends constantly say how fab they are!

Two best presents were a shower-proof radio, so that I can listen to the radio in the bathroom; and a evening's babysitting so DH & I could go out for a meal together (paid babysitters are usually reserved for when we have an event, party, meeting friends etc. to go to, so it was really nice to be able to go out just the two of us)
