So far I've bought my girls some sparkly pens, wobbly scissors and glitter glue...

Where will I get bargainous coloured paper pads?

And, any other suggestions for crafty bits to go with the above would be fab, please Smile (but must be cheap and cheerful)

The Works usually has a good range of cheap craft items.

Would agree The Works but also try Wilkinson, Home Bargains and B&M. You could get sequins and glitter and paints and feathers and pompoms and pre cut shapes and stickers and googly eyes and stampers. A craft box has always been one of my dd's favourite presents

If you're looking for online, I really like Crafty Crocodiles. If you request a catalogue before ordering it has a 10% off voucher and they quite often do free gifts with a £10 spend. Delivery is quite fast as well. I'm currently planning my Christmas order...

The Range usually has a good selection of crafty bits.

I'm getting rid of all my papercrafting stuff. I'll have a rummage through and see what I have. I'll PM you if there is anything worth sending you. I'll just chuck the scratty bits but there may be some nice paper and glittery bits. Are you doing a general re-stock or are you putting together something nice for Christmas? Smile

I'm just trying to put together a nice new craft box for them really TheWoolyBacksWife, nothing in particular, just plenty of bits and bobs that are not kits so they can cut/stick/glue/glitter/whatever away to their hearts content without me having to be 'present' iyswim? Something so I can just potter and they can do their own thing Smile

I'm doing the same present :o found some spare plastic boxes in our room so going to fill them with random bits and bobs. Found some felt squares in a material shop today, also hoping to get bags of ribbon/fabric remnants and mixed buttons.

If we hadn't found all the boxes (I have a major addiction to those Really Useful Boxes Blush) I was thinking of one of those drawer towers. They are pricey though.

I have one of those stashed down the side of the fish tank, my make up and hairdryer live in it. Might consider a re-jig though, think one of the other drawers is empty to fit them in

Have you tried Poundland etc? The 99p store had large packs of glittery pom poms, great animal print card with templates, loads of stamps and paints and canvases when I looked last week!

The glitter glue pens and sparkly metallic pens are from Poundworld and 99p shop. wobbly cutting scissors from Home Bargains. there wasn't much crafty stuff anywhere when I went in (maybe delivery day or something). I'll nip back to the 99p shop as well next time I head into town.

Wilkos have A4 pads of illuminous paper for less than a pound.

I'd totally forgotten about wilkos. Got a new one in town but have barely been in it!

Wilko's isn't as good as it used to be IMO, smaller craft section here & the stuff is smaller packs/more £££.

Having said that, luminous paper sounds just up my street for the craft box so tyvm Smile

This is quite good. I bought it for one of my nieces last year, and for my little brother too.

They seem to do a pink version as well:-
