Dd is having a nexus tablet so just need a few other things.

So far I have a jacket she liked. Will also be getting clothes and trainers.

She doesn't really like board games, lots of craft stuff from last year not been used.

Looking for a few ideas around the £20 mark.

When I asked my mum what my 10yr old DSis wants she suggested Jacqueline Wilson books, any One Direction stuff, a Hunger Games Barbie or a nail art kit with the pen that you use to draw designs on your nails

She's got the nail pens and they do get used a lot so could get some more. I dont think there is anything one direction left to buy! I'm sure she has it all already.

Dd is quite a young ten but I'm finding it difficult this year. She's having an ipod touch, I've also got her a Minecraft messenger bag, a pokemon onesie, minecraft lego. pokemon ds game. She loves Lush bath bombs and bubble bars so I'll buy her a selection of those. She's not interested in clothes but I need some bulky items as she is used to a big pile having always had toys and games in previous years that aren't looked at now she has her laptop.

Getting our dd (10) a kobo mini, and a shared marble run with her siblings. Will pick up some books for her from the charity shop and some sweets, etc. She will be so excited!

All dd1 has asked for is a pokemon 3ds game and a cuddleupet Smile, I have got her a few other bits including a pokemon onesie, pokemon toys, sequin art and a wobble deck. Dd1 isn't girly so she's hard to buy for (not really into clothes or make up).

My DDs are 11 and 9 so same problem, but how about DVDs, Body Shop stuff, 1D perfume, new hat, gloves, scarf set, onsies (always go down well), dd 11 wants her own mini hair dryer, books, slippers, fluffy socks. I'm also looking at a website called NPW which has bits like hair turbans, funky shower caps and scented nail polish etc

mine are 11 and 12 and have asked for a sewing kit each - so am collecting together a pretty sewing basket each with pins/needles/threads/thimble/fabric and a kit to make a cushion too...

that plus onesies/ nice top/ lego friends, and music CD/DVD will do nicely.

My dd10 (11 just after xmas) and I have got her a hairdryer, straighteners and tongs set and some clothes.

I am stuck as she isn't interested in toys and too young for make-up...

*Samsung galaxy tab 3
*mp4
*3d dvd player and 4 3d dvds (shared with dd2)
*ps3 and 6 games (shared with dd2)
*100% human hair extensions
*a bmx bike
*perfume

  • decent make up
    *nike air max
    *holister stuff

    *7 outfits
    *nail polishes (uv, sparkle, glitter)
    *onesie

    *stalking fillers.

that's pretty much her done, seems so much less now she's getting older but the stuff is getting so much more expensive for her age range.

Dd1 will be 10 in January. I've got her a furby boom. She's been talking about one for several months. Not sure what else I'll get. She 's a bookworm so books will feature. She's not an advanced girl - not at all interested in make up, hair etc..

My word ThreeMyselfandI, that is an extensive shopping list for one Christmas. Excuse my nosiness but did you lose possessions in a fire or something and you are having to replace?

What kind of make-up do you buy 10yos? I don't mind dd having nail polish and nail kits but not keen on her covering her face in make up.

Report

Dd had some make up last yr but not foundation/powdery stuff. I dont mind a bit of eyeshadow for messing around the house but it doesn't get worn outside. Nails are fine to be painted.

Anyone seen anything 1d on offer anywhere. I really wanted to get her tickets to see them but it worked out to expensive to stay in hotel etc. I do like the big wall stickery things you can get. Like a big 1d mural.

Im after the mine craft onsie and bag now.

We are buying a wii u for the house so will get her a voucher to buy a game for that too.
