I only have a 3 yo dd so am pretty clueless!

Budget around 10-20 for each. The girl one needs to be postable, but could order it online and deliver to her for her mm to wrap.

Thanks all

My DD enjoys Hama beads.. they are quite light to post. she has played with them for hours, or bead sets.
Am struggling myself for a DS age 9. Does he have a DS or a WII that you could buy a game for? Suggest check first which he has

How about this for the boy? DS is 9 and has just had it and loves it.

Hama beads are good as mentioned or how about some lego friends?

Can't help with idea for the boy, but for the girl, lego friends or sylvanian families are both very light to post and go down well at that age; there are plenty within your budget if you look at Amazon and Argos etc.

What about one of the flip tshirts? Or an idea I got from last years threads 2 plastic popcorn holders with the latest release DVD?

Ds is 7 and dn is nearly 8 - things they want within your price range are:

Robo fish
Hex bug v2 playset
Lego Star Wars
Military stuff like toy soldiers and tanks etc
Avengers stuff

Rainbow loom with loads of extra bags of elastics. My guys would LOVE that.

I can only speak for girls but dd likes lego - they do friends sets but she also likes the 3 in 1 bird and dinosaur ones.

Tesco have been doing one of the creator series houses reduced to £15 recently.

Usborne do some nice books like this one:

There are a few different ones in the series. I can vouch for the science and body ones though - they are both good.

Presents she had recently were beginners crochet set, simple origami set, craft sets, books like the Wishing Chair, Faraway Tree, Roald Dahl.
