I need two, one for a 1 year old and another for a 4 year old girl. Any idea where to start looking?

Thanks, I found an adorable tutu dress by Emma Bunton on Argos of all places!

Online, the children's salon and pan ache kids have some great tutus.

Go forth and buy

Cute black punky top

Cute tutu skirt

Black and white leggings

Then done.

I'm with CockBollocks. The dresses you linked are utterly tacky.

Also look on zulily over the next few weeks as they often have that style of dress/tutu come up on there. It changes daily I terms of what's available.

NoComet Thu 17-Oct-13 23:25:09

That just isn't a UK style of dress.
eBay possibly

I'm trying again...

Hope this link works not done it before but there about 6 different colours of tutu in next at the moment. I thought it would be helpful as they do sizes suitable for the youngest child you are buying for. Also I. Good rock chick colours, black, navy, burgandy, pink etc

CockBollocks Thu 17-Oct-13 22:36:08

As in, they could use it for both instances, dressing up and auditioning if the mood ever took.

T'was a joke!

Nix01 Thu 17-Oct-13 22:26:23

How on earth do you draw that conclusion? A bit uncalled for I think.

CockBollocks Thu 17-Oct-13 22:20:28

Well, I suppose you could double up if you ever felt like auditioning grin

Nix01 Thu 17-Oct-13 22:19:21

CB, each to their own, the girls mum (and I) think they're adorable for party dresses not gypsy auditions!

CockBollocks Thu 17-Oct-13 22:12:33

Can I just say:

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo & Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Please, please do not buy them unless you are auditioning for 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding'

Nix01 Thu 17-Oct-13 21:52:06

Thanks, thinking along these lines:

I have two boys, so I'm a bit clueless when it comes to shopping for girls smile

I bought this for my daughter. It is absolutely gorgeous, really lovely soft tutu (some are quite scratchy and cheap feeling). Problem is it doesn't come small enough for your youngest.

creepycadence Thu 17-Oct-13 21:38:48

We had some Halloween tutus in Wilkinson last year - dark purple - looked quite rock star ish.

Nix01 Thu 17-Oct-13 21:38:21

These are gifts for my DH's god-daughters so I can't dye them.

I didn't see anything in Next, but thanks.

Please keep the suggestions coming. Will check TKMaxx.

tiredteddy Thu 17-Oct-13 21:30:32

Loads of tutus in next!

cocoleBOO Thu 17-Oct-13 21:27:57

Claires always sell tutus.
