We normally have about 20 for a meal on BD.

Nothing too onerous for the love of baublrs.

Left over turkey. Left over ham. Bubble & squeak. Pickles. Then Cheese, celery, crackers or microwaved Christmas pudding and warmed up mince pies.

But if I were hosting a meal for 20 then I would have something else Xmas Grin.

I make piles of curries, dhal etc the week before Christmas and smell of onions for days after pile into containers and freeze. Then on Boxing Day it's a simple reheat job and making a big pan of rice. Yum Grin

I'm doing gammon in coke in the slow cooker this year but that's probably a bit roasty. Nice and easy though!

Cold turkey and beef, hot cheese and potato pie, salad and pickles.

Christmas pud, pavlova, sticky toffee pudding

The at about 10pm we have a "spread" that's sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheeseboard, crisps etc

All this interspersed with Elizabeth Shaw, After Eights, Miniature Heros, buckets of nuts and cheese.

I am taking the DC to my parents this year and they are doing an indoor picnic. We will be having sandwiches and other picky bits.

I am going to do the ham in cola for Christmas eve, I think, as it is my DD1s birthday and last time I made it she said it was the best thing she had ever had Grin

I do another roast on boxing day. It's normally beef but this year I'm thinking of doing lamb.

DH works on Christmas Day so we have PIL, SIL and BIL, their three kids and BIL and his boyfriend over. I do a buffet lunch with loads of party food then for tea we have sandwiches, cakes and I make scones. Lots and lots of alcohol and chocolates, crisps etc.
The 6 kids run riot all day and we play games like charades and pictionary. Then we get all the kids in jamas and we all snuggle up to watch the gruffalo or something. I'm really looking forward to it!

We go to my dads for Boxing day. A long walk to the pub for a couple over the fields and then back to a massive forerib of beef. A lot roast, I know but it's ace!
