Writing Christmas cards dilemma

rhondajean · 08/12/2012 14:53

This is my first year in a new office.

Previously i spent ages writing everyone's entire families in the card, and the names of all four of us

Eg to mark, sue, Peter, Douglas and little Janice

With love from rj, DH, dd1 and dd2

I don't know the names of people's families here yet and the two cards I have so far are just

To rj
From colleague

Ok just to simplify it and put from me to you and not to all of you from us?

Same as you have received. When I worked in an office, the cards stayed there anyway so no need for everyone's name. Buy then I stopped doing it and only do cards to family and close friends. I love Christmas but hare card writing so do as few as possible.

Or write 'to Janice and family' (for example) if you know they have a family, if not then just write it to them and from you only.

Don't write Christmas cards to people who you don't know very well.

I hate the whole and family thing, it seems lazy. Likewise the not writing names to.

I think I'll go with to sue from me for this year at year at least until I learn the names of everyone's oh and children. Thanks all.
