My little grandson is almost 1 year and he loves Wollie and Tig. I would love to get one knitted for him for his birthday on 26 April. Please contact me if you can and let me know price etc.
Thanks All

My mom makes woolleys she made the pattern up herself and it's not far off the one on eBay. She sells her for £10 and that includes postage or if you live near and can collect £6.50

I can't believe the prices on eBay

I have a Facebook page with pictures of all the characters we can do lots of cbeebies. Just search lozboz crafts

I got a great one on eBay for £25, was worried it would be crap but it looks like the "real" wooly.

I'll go get the sellers name.

An old thread resurrected but I had Woolley knitted by Iwantacampervan for dgs aged 3. It was a great success and there is a photo on my profile now smile

Thank you so much everyone for such lovely and helpful responses. I have been clicking on the many links, thank you. Good to know I am not the only one and that eBay and FB can save the day. Having seen one knitted by Iwantacampervan and had a lovely PM from her, I am going to put my order in with her tonight and hope she can fit me in before Christmas. x

This person on FB makes them. smile

Iwantacampervan Tue 27-Nov-12 19:32:28

I can knit these (I have just done one for a Mumsnetter). I charge for the materials and postage and can get them sent in a couple of weeks - so by Christmas. Photo on my profile.
Send me a PM and i'll let you know the actual cost.

Ha, I was right. hot cakes I'm not sure about the quality either, for that price, but there are dozens of other ones in varying degrees of quality. You have to admire the way they've all got around naming Tree Fu Tom in the listing titles! grin

asuwere Tue 27-Nov-12 19:17:30

I saw one on my local gumtree the other day but it wasn't a local phone number... Just did a search and found lots of results from same person. Looks quite nice. smile

I've still to make DS1 his Abney doll. (The commercial ones that finally came out this summer weren't great and quite pricey.) No Tree Fu Tom toys either. I'd have thought a Tree Fu Tom costume would sell like hot cakes. They're really missing a trick. sad

Marne Tue 27-Nov-12 19:07:10

I'm looking for wooley too grin, dd2 also likes alphablocks but they dont have toys either sad.

GwendolineMaryLacey Tue 27-Nov-12 18:25:53

it happens with everything on cbeebies. Last year there was a huge market in knitted Abney and Teals. DD1 would love a Woolly too.

Contact iwantacampervan

mungojerrie Tue 27-Nov-12 18:17:25

wow I can't believe the prices of those on ebay!! we would love one for DD but seriously - £45!! And £20 for rubbish ones. Love the knitted ones, need to find a talented friend.

bondigidum Tue 27-Nov-12 18:04:24

Loads and loads on ebay but they are quite pricey, lots of interest in them because cbeebies (I think) are yet to cash in on it and make official ones.

My DCs love Zou on Disney but there's no official toys, just an ebay seller who knits them and I saw one go for £50 hmm

BeaWheesht Tue 27-Nov-12 17:52:26

Contact iwantacampervan on here - she's just knitted me one and it's brilliant!

CoffeeGoneColdAgain Tue 27-Nov-12 17:50:58

Ok, scrap the last paragraph above. If I'd spelt it correctly in the first place i would have found loads!! type Woolly and Tig spider and loads of handmade ones come up, not cheap though :O

CoffeeGoneColdAgain Tue 27-Nov-12 17:49:05

This is the only one I could find, doesnt look as good as the pattern one, I will upload a photo of Dd's when I get it from my Mums.

CoffeeGoneColdAgain Tue 27-Nov-12 17:47:48

Ok I think thats the pattern link without my ebay account on Haha grin

will see if I can find a ready made one,

CoffeeGoneColdAgain Tue 27-Nov-12 17:46:42

CoffeeGoneColdAgain Tue 27-Nov-12 17:41:18

Ooooh Something I can answer. My Dd was desperate for a 'woolley' spider.
Ebay is your friend. There is a lady I bought a knitting pattern from who also sells the ready made spider. I will see if I can do a linky.

If you know a fab knitter then the pattern was a few quid, I think the ready made spider was auctioned and sold for about £12,

Will report back, smile

gemz86 Tue 27-Nov-12 15:41:07

No but I'm looking for one too. I looked on cbeebies and they say that they have no merchandise avaliable for the program yet sad
I know my ds would adore one. I've been looking online for something similar but no joy yet. If I have any luck I will let you know x

reallybusymummy Tue 27-Nov-12 14:54:03

Has anyone come across online or store that are selling the spider character Wooley from Wooley & Tig? My youngest DD is very keen on them and I thought I would get one for her this Christmas (and I can't stop humming the tune absentmindedly at work, which is awkward, when outed by another parent)!
