Good quality tudor/ medieval princess type dress?

Please can anyone give me some ideas on where I can buy a Tudor princess-type dress of reasonable quality for my dd (aged 8)? Would prefer to buy online if poss, something around £30 would be good, something of velvet type material. DO NOT want a shiny polyester Disney Princess dress, I'm looking more for a proper Tudor costume (she needs to wear it for Tudor day at school later in the year and I thought it would make a good Christmas present). Many thanks for any help you can give! x

Oh gosh...proper fancy dress, well I'm sorry, I don't have a clue...TKMaxx has an awful lot of this sort of thing online, but then it's all likely to be polyester!

I hope you find something really nice.

My local TK Maxx has beautiful tudor princess dresses. Navy velvet with gold detail. Fantastic quality. About £30.

The Brave one at Disney is quite medieval.

I liked the sleeves and cape. I am such a sucker.

T'is better quality than most of the Disney nonsense imho.

Everything in TK Maxx will be Polyester too.

Thanks both of you. Must say I do like that cape on the brave one... Have found this which I'm quite keen on and am going to do an online hunt for a cape Smile I'm still planning on checking out TK Maxx as well as I might find something there for DD2!
