I can't think of anything original sad

Have got him little stocking fillers and the usual stuff, smellies, etc, but I usually get him a main present too, and I just can't think of anything I've not done before.

Tell me your wonderful ideas please so I can steal them smile

My dh is getting a neocore tablet and a stocking full of bits and some books smile

If he is a Manchester United Fan then Man Utd have released a 6 month and twelve month subscription to MUTV. It is cheap £40 and £75 and does not auto renew. SO its one off in a presentation pack and seems to be quite popular.

DH is getting:
1) a vaping device (not much of a present far as I'm concerned though, coz he ordered and paid for it, I gave him half the money and it's now mine to hide till Xmas day hmm)
2) World at War 5-DVD set (I know he wants it)
3) a massive box of Cadbury's fingers grin

That's it. We both have an overspending ban (usually of about £100)
and we don't do stockings.

I don't know if your DH smokes, OP, but to anyone whose partner does smoke (and might be talking of giving up, or you've been nagging at them for yearswink) I really do advise you try a vaping kit (aka electronic cigarette). There are lots of kits available for all budgets, but if you decide to get one I suggest you ask around on vapers' forums to help you choose. There are some surprisingly good and bad ones. Some look exactly like a cig, some more like a torch and some like a truncheon! E-liquids come in all sorts of strengths (i.e. nicotine concentration) and flavours range from various brands of tobacco to stuff like caramel capuccino, strawberry shortcake to pretty weird stuff like smokey bacon and Cola Kisses confused

Mine has hinted for the third Christmas in a row now that he would really like a Star Wars DVD box set. The cheaper DVD box set is actually on Blu-Ray. So, I am probably going to get us a Blu-Ray player, if ever I can settle on a model.

Previous Xmas giftie was a camera to replace the one I knocked off the kitchen counter and smashed (oops blush). The one before that was a white-water rafting voucher, which we ended up redeeming on our honeymoon. smile

We dont get gifts for eachother but each year I wish I could think of something nice to give him.
Despite so many ideas, I have DH with no interests as such.
No sports
No alcohol
No "experience days"
No gaming/anything technical
Clothes a bit naff for a gift

He is so hard to buy for!

I have got DH a set of virtual reality glasses, he can sit and watch movies etc on a 72 inch screen while the DC'S watch cartoons and not have daddy moaning that its his turn for tv. Also this gift means I do not have to have the full size 72 inch screen in my living room as this was what he was planning on buying after Xmas xx

Books and maybe a digital photo frame. He said he doesn't want anything ( we are saving ) but I think it's nice for the kids to see us exchange something.

I have mentioned I am out of perfume and put the empty bottle on the side with a loud " oh it's empty and I really like this one best"

Here's hopingsmile

buzzgirly Sun 25-Nov-12 07:12:30

This is a great thread. It's giving me lots of ideas which is great, as I am spectacularly bad with DH's Xmas present. Last year he bought me an ipad and I got him tracksuit bottoms blush

So this year I am doing a little Santa sack with bits like boxers, socks and his main present is golf lessons. I will look into the beerbods which sounds fantastic!

LillethTheCat Sat 24-Nov-12 18:58:07

PS Vita.

browneyesblue Sat 24-Nov-12 18:54:57

Beerbods for my Dad too, I think. Thanks smile

hjtunny Sat 24-Nov-12 13:04:22

Noren thank you for the tip on Beerbods, I think that's my Dad & StepDad sorted, always difficult to buy for!

GoldPlatedNineDoors Sun 18-Nov-12 11:08:52

Next have some decent mens ones in. I have asked for one from DH but he is unawares that he is getting one too. I have visions of us all sitting round Christmas Day evening in our onezies, with 1yr old dd in hers too, watching christmas movies.

fuzzpig Sun 18-Nov-12 10:53:14

Ooh what kind of onesie?

I have a feeling DSDs might get one for each of us as a joke. I actually kind of want one. DH will probably threaten to disown me if I wear it grin

GoldPlatedNineDoors Sun 18-Nov-12 09:04:42

Dh is getting a magazine subscription and a onezie!

DizzyPurple Sun 18-Nov-12 08:59:47

Some fab ideas here Thanks! Rather like the beer bods idea. Also the flame colour changing thing - perfect for my brother in law with his wood burning stove thing he adores!

dustyhousewithdustypeople Sun 18-Nov-12 08:04:27 which he asked for. Easy!
