She loved getting her reply last year so we are sending it nice and early. And we have remembered to include her name and address last year (as I forgot last year and had to send another envelope off with her details so she could get her reply.)

I've already ordered most of the things she has mentioned she likes and is going to ask the fat man for, so making her commit to her list means she can't change her mind and suddenly start asking for something else.

(I've left some of her present budget in reserve in case she does become v attached to something in December Grin)

I've told DD she needs to write her letter this weekend for exactly that reason - she needs to commit and stop changing her mind so I can buy!

I'm a big meanie and my DCs haven't written a list - I don't think they even know they can TBH Blush (eldest is 5) - I just keep an eye out on things I know they would like, adverts that catch their eye etc.

What's on the list then?

She's 8 and wants an Inkoo, some blingle beads and some moshi monsters stuff for her bedroom (duvet/curtains/light shade).
