Fab! We have the 'Mog the Forgetful Cat' book and DD2 loves it.......where did you find the toy if you don't mind me asking?

Oh my word! I must have this for myself DD, will have to sneak it into my basket when I order some decorations grin

I got our Mog from the little apple bookshop in York -
Little Apple Bookshop,
13 High Petergate, York, YO1 7EN

I don't know if they do deliveries but might be worth asking if you want to support a small business.

NEED!!

Northernlurker Sat 03-Nov-12 22:43:56

I know. I walked in the shop, saw her and basically yelled 'Oh my word they've made a MOG TOY! I must have that'. Then when the woman serving me described it as 'he' I sniffily corrected her saying 'Mog is a SHE'. I think I may have Gone Too Far.

WANT ONE!

Is that Mog as in Meg and Mog?

TodaysAGoodDay Sat 03-Nov-12 23:40:30

Am I the only one who cries at the end of 'Goodbye Mog'? Unfortunately my DS loves the Mog books, and Goodbye is his favourite. I love the look of the toy smile

Northernlurker Sun 04-Nov-12 09:23:59

Goodbye Mog is not entering this house. Mog will live for ever for me.

Love Mog but that toy is pants. The tiger from The Tiger Who Came to Tea on the right of it looks a lot better.

Northernlurker Sun 04-Nov-12 09:48:39

Well no actually it's not pants. It's really fluffy and snuggly.

derekthehamster Sun 04-Nov-12 14:57:12

It doesn't look like Mog Mog looks just like my old cat

SufferingLampreys Sun 04-Nov-12 14:58:32

Are you sure it's not a stuffed mog?

Mwahaha

<runs away>

Northernlurker Sun 04-Nov-12 15:00:32

Aaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!

grin

It DOES look like Mog.

<<don't know why I bother emoticon>>

pictish Sun 04-Nov-12 15:01:57

That's not Mog. Sorry but no. Mog doesn't look like that.

The Tiger (who came to tea) is lovely though.

derekthehamster Sun 04-Nov-12 15:02:29

I liked the cat from 'room on the broom' though

RugBugs Sun 04-Nov-12 15:05:17

I couldn't resist and engineered a trip into town today and have just got home with my snuggly mog!
Picked up the board version of mog the forgetful cat for £4 too.
DD is going to love her grin

lookingforgold Sun 04-Nov-12 15:06:07

oh my, i soooo want one

my ds loved mog hes now 26

IsItMeOr Sun 04-Nov-12 15:06:20

Whaaat? Are we looking at the same toys. Cat looks much more like Mog than the Tiger looks like the one who came to tea confused.

Northernlurker Sun 04-Nov-12 15:36:12

In the fur, as it were, the Tiger is very smug. Which is consistent with the book character I suppose.

Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog! Mog!
