Is this the one cooked in Coke?

If so I use unsmoked ham and it's fine - very yummy in fact!

Do you mean the one in the Christmas book? Not the coke one? If so I make it every year with a basic sainsburys unsmoked ham and it is yummy!! Good cooked the day before and served cold as well.

I did her ginger spiced one, from and it was delicious.

I will be making it again this year, it is our boxing day special
