Just had an email from nectar confirming. It's listed as "up to half price" sale so not everything will be half price, but everything will be reduced by some amount.

LadyMargolotta Tue 23-Oct-12 12:45:46

When does it continue until?

Petsinmyputridpudenda Tue 23-Oct-12 12:46:26

I've just had a look through their site to see if the toys I need are on there and whilst they sell them, they are much more expensive than other shops! I wander whether even in the sale if it's much less than other shops?

E.g barbie wardrobe is £30 but I got it from amazon £15 delivered! Same with barbie popstar dolls - they're selling for £25 each but I got them £15?

Wandering if it's worth staying up til midnight?!?

olibeansmummy Tue 23-Oct-12 17:47:56

Brilliant! Thanks pigley

crumblequeen Tue 23-Oct-12 20:39:38

Yes I suspected the sale might be happening tomorrow as I have just been into Sainsburys and they are stacking up toys all over!

rhondajean Tue 23-Oct-12 21:28:54

The Barbie wardrobe is at least £30'everywhere else now though, the £15 was a amazon blip ages back wasn't it, which I missed!m

Onlyhappywhenitrains Tue 23-Oct-12 21:48:30

I can't decide whether to wait up or go at straight there after dropping ds at nursery. Will be there about 8.45, wonder if I'll have missed the good, stuff by then shock
Will all stuff be available online at same prices do we think?

rhondajean Tue 23-Oct-12 21:52:20

I'm going to wait up til 12 and see, if not I'll be up and round for 8 anyway. scared I missed something

Onlyhappywhenitrains Tue 23-Oct-12 21:55:01

Will there be fisticuffs in the aisles?!

Onlyhappywhenitrains Tue 23-Oct-12 21:55:11

I've never been before!

rhondajean Tue 23-Oct-12 22:04:41

I went to one of the Glasgow ones last year and it was grim, it was never like that in previous years. people blocking the aisles with trolleys and it looked like just flinging stuff into the trolley regardless probably to put on eBay that afternoon I'm going to the smaller one nearer me tomorrow in the hope it's calmer!

rhondajean Tue 23-Oct-12 22:05:14

Wasn't there till about ten o'clock last year though!

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest Tue 23-Oct-12 22:09:35

If you want lego you need to be there about half an hour before doors open at least. Can be a real bunfight, even when not advertised!

rhondajean Wed 24-Oct-12 00:05:01

HA just as Thr half price etc came up online the site has been taken down for maintenance apparently.

Aye right!

pigleychez Wed 24-Oct-12 00:06:17

Arrgghh, we crashed the site!

oreocrumbs Wed 24-Oct-12 00:06:26

Will you lot give over. You've broken sainsburys and I have shopping to do grin
