ds has this www.toottoottoys.com.au/catalogue/c114/c170/c174/p4844/summary

he's not interested in the train part but likes using the up an down bit of the helicoptor part for his cars. Is there some sort of track thing out there for cars? All his cars are either hot wheels or equivalent brand. I have looked at the hot wheels sets and they all have some sort of mechanism for shooting the cars where as he wants essentially a train track but for cars if that makes sense??

If you have managed to make any sense of what im asking thank you!!

Have a look at the tomy tomica stuff maybe? We have the big station set where the cars go round and stop to let the trains through. You can get lots of add ons too and small hot wheels cars would be fine.
If he's not bothered about the trains though maybe it isn't what you want. My ds (3.4) adores it, although it is supposedly for five and upwards. He likes to make the cars crash into the trains.

DS has some sets we bought from ASDA - they are modular so post office etc that all join together.

He also has some hotwheels 'track' that isn't spring set (he does some some stunt stuff too!). I have no idea where to get it from though. I'm sure we got some from ASDA (sensing a theme?!) but the rest came from boot sales and school fayres!

Hi thanks for the reply, its not really the knid of thing he wants but thank you! He basically wants a round n round up and down track for the cars he already has. You know like the basic wooden train sets but the cars dont fit on! I think it is one of those 'it doesnt exist' type of ideas x

We have a mookie modular track which is meant to do that kind of thing, ds was desperate for it. And yes the cars go up and down the ramps but the whole thing falls apart if you as much as breathe on it. Was considering super gluing the entire blasted thing together.

I agree that apart from hot wheels tracks this toy does not exist. Maybe there is a gap in the market?!

What about Bigjigs Road? Lovely wooden sets - just not sure how it would work with your DS's current cars.....
