Argos Barnardos exchange

I thought this warranted a thread of its own.

Argos are offering a £5 voucher to spend on toys if you take in unwanted toys before the 27th November. The toys you take in will be donated to Barnardos.

I think it's a lovely idea. Dd2 and I are going to look through her toys later, and Santa will appreciate the extra £5 help too!

It's a good way to get the PRE Christmas clear out done and make them feel that they are helping others eh? True spirit of Christmas and all that.

Is it £5 for every toy? DS2 has a lot of like new toys he has grown out of and I was going to give them away this sounds like a fab idea! Going to do it!

You have to spend more than £35 to use the voucher and I think you can only use one voucher at a time.

I think it's £5 per donation. So if you want a few vouchers, go in a few times.

Thanks for the specifics only - it will still be compatible with nectar points etc. ill mix this voucher, nectar points, Argos vouchers for online surveys etc.

Has anyone tried this? I'l love to do it, but not sure if toys should still have their original boxes etc Obviously would only take toys in good nick, complete etc... (don't want to embarrass myself!)
