battery deals?

Anyone seen any good deals on batteries recently? Need to replace my supply again

I always get them in Lidl. Whilst not priced like "cheap" batteries, theirs seem to last like duracell etc and are much cheaper.

We normally use rechargeable ones but they are AA and I need AAA and C

I have discovered some good batteries that actually last.

They are called GP Ultra - the batteries are gold with a white strip, and most of the cardboard back of the packet is green. You can get AA and AAA, not sure if they do the chunky sized ones. The Entertainer toy shop usually have them on offer on the counter, and this week I have seen them in HomeBargains.

Bought them on a long journey when DS's Innotab ate through several lots of batteries from the pound shop in 10 minute spells . In comparison these GP Ultra ones last hours compared to the 10 mins the Kodak ones where lasting.
