We usually go totally OTT for family - my parents, my sister and her family - spending about £100+ per person for Xmas. But I buy most all of the pressies and I have been feeling like I spend from Sept to Xmas worrying about shopping, not enjoying the run up to Xmas and the spiritual element! Talked about it with my sister and we have decided a £20 limit for adults, £50 for kids this Xmas.
What do you do? How much do you spend? Will we enjoy Xmas less this year with fewer pressies, or will we feel liberated? I feel guilty for spending money on us too, when so many people in the world are poor.
