would this be ok for a 6/7 year old ? or a bit young? I was thinking of buying it to be played alongside lego batman smaller pieces. Ive looked at the lego batcave but thought it might be nice to have one that stays in one piece , and i am getting a bit fed up of lego everywhere.

Hi Frazzled,
we bought the batcave for DS's birthday when he turned 6 in August. So far it has been a big success. We also bought the villian van with the joker and penguin to play along with it. Our DS is another one who loves lego but as you say the Imaginext stuff is much sturdier.

Prior to this he had the Imaginext space stuff including the shuttle and launch pad and they are still in perfect working order and he had them for over 3 years

I've just bought the batcave from ELC with the 20% off, was wondering about the other things- will go look again after hearing your positive review :)

I bought the batcave when Ds was 4, and he's played with it nearly every day since. The space shuttle thingy still in perfect condition and we've had that 2 years.

I reckon he'll still play with it at 6-7, it's not babyish.
