I have already got her some stationery, a make up set, and some mini candles but I'm still hoping I'll manage to think of a good main present. If not, I'll have to resort to a gift voucher which I know she'd like but I'd prefer to give her actual gifts.

Any ideas please for gifts from £5 up to about £20?

What kind of things does she like? Is she a tomboy? A fashionista? A bookworm?

Top shop or itunes voucher? Pay for her to get her hair done?

Something that went down well with our teenage daughters last year was a mug with some hot chocolate, mini marshmallows, a Starbucks card, a candy cane and a Starbucks chocolate coin in - it means they get hot choc at home and then have money to spend on coffee etc on a jaunt into town too!

DD1 16 likes the Kate Moss perfumes.

Scarf - H&M do a good selection for about 7 pounds each.

Copy of, 'Pride And Prejudice' and the Kiera Knightley dvd to go with - would be good with the mug etc as above for a nice night in!

Copy of, 'The Bell Jar' and some chocolate (will need choc when reading it!).

Ime teenage girls can never have enough Paperchase notebooks and gel pens!

Good suggestions, thank you!

I'm going to make up a chocolate hamper for her and get some silly bits from Paperchase to go with what I've already got and I think she'd like a cover for the new iPod Touch she's just saved up for. Where would I get the kind of cover a 16 year old would like? (sometimes I feel very old and out of touch!)
