Just need to tidy house tomorrow, not too bad so should only take couple of hours.

All food ordered for delivery first thing Monday morning, am keeping my fingers crossed that the snow doesn't stop it arriving.

My plan B is that if it doesn't come will get someone to watch the kids and get DH to take me to Sainsburys in the Jeep.

Oh, and I need to redecorate my tree which had to be taken down for the skirting boards to be replaced, never a dull moment!

I need to buy all the food really. Chicken on order. Must call butcher and order sausages and bacon to pick up on 23rd. Will get rest of food one evening this week.

Everything else I have, even last-minute changes/swaps! Much of it is wrapped too tho not stockings (which is the worst as they have to have parity or They Will Notice.

Tree goes up tomorrow!

In throes of baking now; tonight have marzipanned cake and make fudge and rocky road for last gifts (to teachers/Brownie leaders etc).

Need to make marzipan fruits for neighbours and then generally get some bits made for US - mince pies, truffles, more rocky road...

Ds is tidying his room as I type (it may be acceptable by Christmas eve who knows...)

I will do a blitz on the house once today's visitors have been and gone.

Got m&s order to pick up on wednesday.
Fresh veg & milk etc to get at same time.

1 parcel not arrived.

Got neighbour's kids presents (she is unwell and the oldest 2 are at their dad's still so will wait till they all there and better) and 1 other friend who lives in next village to deliver still (not going out till roads cleared and ds is over his coughing bug).

Everything is wrapped, including January birthday presents for ds.

So just the reindeer food and santa's mince pie to put out xmas eve (have to make sure to keep a mince pie aside this year Xmas Blush.

Other than that am done I hope!

I have written christmas cards, ordered meat from the butchers and bought a present for DN other than that I've done nothing!

Still got presents to buy for all family (15!), presents to buy for boys, food shopping to do and house to clean - Aaagghh! Xmas Shock

In my defence Christmas bonus from work will be paid tomorrow which will buy all of the above (hence why I have not shopped earlier, and I like shopping last minute) and the house is decorated beautifully for Christmas Xmas Blush

Willl someone please tell me to get off MN and go and clean my fridge before I fill it again tomorrow.

Have ordered some books for dd although they have not come yet, they are all the presents we do. I may pop out and get something else for dd on Monday incase her books don't come.

Have written and sent all cards, bought, wrapped and posted (where necessary) all presents. Decorations are all up. Cake is made and iced. Various food items have been made and are in freezer. Pudding made. Just have to clean house (Wednesday), collect order from butchers, and get bread/greengroceries from baker/greengrocer (Thursday) and accept Sainsbury delivery (Tuesday).

Then make trifle Thursday and mince pies on Friday. My guests are arriving Thurs afternoon/Friday, so most of it will be done by then!

I still need to collect meat order from the butcher, get fresh food, make ice cream and stuffing, and wrap presents.

DH upset that Amazon order isn't here, (books and CD's) so bought lots of cooking gadgets in town to make up for the presents that I might not get as they are in Scotland! I did help choose what I wanted though!

I guess shopping will be done on foot with a trolley to drag it home in, just like last Christmas. We are lucky to be able to do this as we live just over half a mile away from our town centre. A bit tricky on the hill when the snow is compacted to ice rink hardness though.

I've still got to write my UK cards and post (would like to print off some photos in Boots of DS enjoying the snow to include, but might not be able to drive as far as Boots!). We did manage a large food shop today but I'm planning on getting the beef joint from a local farm shop. No idea if I'll be able to. Hey, we have pizzas in the freezer! Grin Most Amazon orders seem to have arrived.

Haven't wrapped anything at all, need to put DS's farm set together and glue it (according to reviews on the ELC website...), would like to make my MW a pair of earrings as Christmas present, oh, and have a baby. Smile

"kitchen cupboards cleaned" what is it with you people? Grin

I do like to have the house reasonably clean for Christmas - and I do make sure the washing is all ironed and away - but I don't go as far as cupboard or spring cleaning.

And in any case there is zero point me doing it yet as the children are all here most of this week Grin

Grin Clary

There is zero chance of me 'christmas cleaning' the house. We moved in a few weeks ago so there are still boxes in odd places and things to put away, DS is a bloody tornado in terms of scattering stuff, and I am too pregnant to care about raisins ground into the rug, or dust, or grimy ovens. Grin
