touch screen phone (for 32.00)

Not sure how many teens and younger are after some horribly expensive smartphone, but while buying something today in Asda Living I saw the T-Mobile Vibe which is a touch screen phone with camera (2 Mpixel), MP3 player and FM radio.

Comes with a 2 GB microSD card already installed (it is ready to use, once it has been charged). As it is on T-Mobile it can also take Virgin Mobile SIM cards, or you might find some shop to unlock it.

I found the FM radio to be one of the most sensitive around (and is the first thing I test).

Phone has multiple alarms (I counted 5), stopwatch, organiser, calculator, world clock (and main display can be set to show time in two places, or just local time).

Contacts list can have photos included, so when someone phones it will flash up their photo (still experimenting to see best photo size that the phone can display).

DD1 (11) is looking for a new phone off Father Christmas.

She currently has an Asda SImCard in one of my old smartphones, so this sounds great.

How much was it NetworkG?

Ah-ha is that the 32.00 in the title? Blush

Thanks for the heads-up.

Yes, sorry, it was 32 pounds. I suppose this might be one time when a 31.99 might come in handy (though personally I detest the 99.99 price and any other just short of the next 'tens' multiple)

NB Since the Asda service works with Vodafone network, there may be some alternative that is better value for her. I noted down prices from the majority of phones I saw on the shelves, from each of the networks (exc Three).
