Advent Calendar Help Please

Hello,

I am in urgent need of help with respect to the 2010 Playmobil advent calendar box assembly. I had trouble putting together the box yesterday (Sunday) and felt quite pleased that I had manged to decipher the instructions. Sadly, after carefully putting each toy in their respected slot, I have recently discovered that the box won't close.

I have spent endless hours surfing the net on how the box is supposed to work but have come up empty.

Does anyone know if the dividers are supposed to touch the bottom of the box?

Any help that anyone out there can offer on putting together the box would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid this year I have one of the Playmobil ones where the box is already assembled with the items in it. (They are new this year). Last year I had the police one, and remember it was quite difficult to work out how to assemble it, but can't remember how I did it, and box is now in loft. Hopefully someone else with one will be along in a minute....

Thankfully, I was able to figure it out. I did have the right idea, the dividers were not far enough down into the slots. The solution, just giving them a push so that they reached the bottom. I think I was worried about damaging the thing.

Of course, after I managed to figure out the box. I had to figure out how to assemble the 3D bakcdrop. Putting the little tag into each slot wasn't as easy as the instructions made it out. But it was nothing that a little scotch tape couldn't fix.

My 2 1/2 year old was ecstatic when she saw the fairy landscape in front of her. All of the hours poured into the thing were worth her joy.
