How old are they. When my DD's got to around 14 they mostly wanted CD's. Although they also liked hair dryers ,straighteners ,books and for a while computer or console Games.

We always buy ours at least one board game, and he makes sure we stick to our promise of having a family board games night sometime over the weekend (he's 13). This year we've bought him 'Logo' which looks easy & fun and gets good reviews.

I also get him lots of silly little stocking filler 'game' type things, like little puzzles (rubics cube, etc - prob spelt that wrong - sorry!). Have got lots of ideas for little things from Firebox (online) & from Hawkins Bazzare.
