I don't know.

DS's birthday is 22nd November and really can't think properly about Christmas until after that.

DD (5) is getting a large Hello Kitty that was on offer in Tescos recently. Have got some stocking things. They will both get an annual. And a satsuma. She says she wants Hello Kitty things and a toy cat that looks like one she left on a bus. And maybe some playmobil.

DS (nearly 7) I am not sure about. He would like an umbrella Grin. He is about to get lovely Lego for his birthday so should be content for a while.

DD1 (5.11) will be getting - dsi (v. much against our better judgement but promised she could have one 'when she was 6' from the age of 4, which she will be in January.
Also, an annual, box set of books, a HSM3 dance mat (which incidently only cost me £2)
and another present (probably a game for the ds).

DD2 (21 months) - happy land farm and playmat, talking upsy daisy, annual, box set of books, easy painters

DD1 will give DD2 the free quad bike set that comes with the happyland farm and DD2 will give DD1 the free game that came with the DSi Grin

Both will then have a new outfit for christmas day, PJs and stocking stuff.

We've got:

DD (3.6)
ELC play buttons
Postman pat dominoes
Very hungry caterpillar card game
Maisy board game
Doctor kit
ELC silly stackers game
Fridge phonics (3-letter version)
Pocoyo double DVD
ELC letter fishing game
Case for aforementioned camera

DS (1.4)
Cogs and gears toy
Set of JCB mini toy diggers etc
Toy Harold and Thomas

DSD1 (12.8)
Me to you blanket
Me to you pyjamas
Watch
Earrings
JLS Tshirt (ultimate proof of how much I love her that I was willing to buy that)

DSD2 (12.8)

Digital dictaphone

Also got the DSDs Just Dance 2 on wii as a joint present Envy

Am quite pleased with how organised I was this year, for our 2 kids it was way under £100 total. And DH is on sick pay now so glad we don't need to worry about buying any more!

People with long lists, is this presents just from you or does it include presents from relations as well?

Well my list (apart from the camera and car transporter) is only what we are getting them - they will get a few other bits and bobs from my DSDs and other relatives.

Report
domesticsluttery · 13/11/2010 12:35

Does mine count as long list? It was 8 presents each, but only cost about £75 per child which isn't that much by a lot of people's standards. And yes, those 8 presents will be all coming from us.

Think my post didn't come out quite how I meant it to Blush although not sure what exactly I did mean.

Maybe I just want to be more organised Grin.

Here Father Christmas brings one big present and a stocking and then there are presents to and from each sibling.

Have just realised that as we are having Christmas day as a family of 4 on our own and won't be seeing grandparents and uncles and aunts and cousin until after Christmas (and they are the only ones likely to give any presents) that there may not be a lot of presents under the tree. So am wondering what to do. Somehow to me it feels "wrong" for us to get DS and DD lots of presents at Christmas but don't want it to fall flat.

They will get things just after Christmas and at 5 and 7 probably can cope with that. But am in a something of indecision. I think Grin
