Running away from home

Girl

Having a child run away from home is pretty much every parent's nightmare. Sadly, it's much more common than you think. It's estimated that a child runs away from home or care in the UK every five minutes.

Railway Children are working together with Aviva to provide help and support to children under 16 who have run away from home, or are at risk of doing so. Find out how you can help support the cause through Mumsnet.

Running away can have serious consequences. Find out more about the risks children face by running away here.
