The Meadow, Lleweni Parc

You hire the whole meadow for just your group so it was the perfect place for a camping party for us and a load of friends. Back-to-basics with just water and a loo available (was portaloo for our test visit, but new composting ones are promised) but fab for one night (good excuse not to shower) and the kids had an absolute ball! Freedom to run around and be kids (the river runs alongside the field, but is fairly well shielded by undergrowth, and the dog loved retrieving pooh-sticks!) and star-watching around the bonfire with a few ciders (drink of choice that night) and of course marshmallows made it the perfect camping that we all remember from childhood.
