"Plenty of space, great for children…"
This was our first camping trip and Harford Bridge didn't disappoint. Nice big pitch (we have an 8 person tent and had loads of room) with picnic table; clean loos and showers with no queue even first thing in the morning; fenced in playground and a little pebbly beach by the river for the children to mess about on. The games room wasn't great so if the weather is bad then there's not much for children to do.

The site never felt crowded even though it was almost full and it was very quiet at night. There are pitches next to the river but it's pretty loud.

The on-site shop didn't stock much but there's a supermarket only 10 mins drive away. The pub in Peter Tavy is a 20 min walk or 3 min drive and does lovely food.

There's lots to see and do in the area, there's a cycle track to Tavistock and a bus stop just outside the campsite.Read moreLess
