"We stayed 3 nights at the end of May. Pitches"
01-Jul-2011
We stayed 3 nights at the end of May. Pitches are spacious and feels quite private, though our pitch was a bit stony. Facilities are clean - though only three showers! Fine for early morning (which is fine by me since I got up early) but queues otherwise. Park and woods next door were very nice. Decent (but not too exciting) pub a short walk away.

"Had a fabulous 5 night tent camping trip kids loved"
05-Aug-2010
Had a fabulous 5 night tent camping trip kids loved the park especially when it closed to main public. The kids also loved being able to rummage around the woods, be aware of the ticks though. Facilities were clean. Pitch was big enough some pitches looked a bit stoney to be tent pitches although ours was great nestled nicely under trees and surrounded by woods the tent is filthy and needs a good clean and so did the kids but isn't that what camping is all about.

"This is the perfect setting for a week-end away not"
27-May-2010
This is the perfect setting for a week-end away not far from home if you live in London or South East.
It is set in the forest, with plenty of shade. Facilities are good and clean.
The best bit of our family stay was that the adjacent park can be used by campers after the park is closed so you get eclusive use of the playgrounds and beautiful lake. Taking the kids bikes was a bonus!
Worst bit was Mr Peacock being very loud at 5 in the morning! :)Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
