"We're just back from 12 nights here and it was"
28-Aug-2011
We're just back from 12 nights here and it was a fantastic place to stay. The loo block is lovely - there are jay-cloths on the basins to wipe round after you've cleaned your teeth etc, hairdriers (free), fresh flowers!, a family room and a mop that you are expected to use after your shower.
The block us cleaned at 7am, 10 am, closed for 2 hours over lunch for through clean, then gone over twice again before bedtime. The fact that it is pretty much spotless means that everyone respects it (nearly everyone) and cleans after themselves.
The staff are really, really nice and ever so helpful.
There's a hen area where you can feed your veg scraps, a pick your own herb bed, a laptop work station (for your own laptop), a well stocked shop and a children's play area and pond. You can have Indian and Chinese delivered and there's a pub a short walk away where you can get a free bottle of wine.
The pitch was massive and you have to park cars between each tent (fire precaution)
Very handy for Poole, Bournemouth, New Forest and other Dorset towns. Beaches at Studland are very easily accessible and lovely.
The only bad thing about the whole experience was the blardy weather!!Read moreLessMumsnetter honeeb

"We love this site! It is by far the best"
20-Jul-2011
We love this site! It is by far the best family site we have been to.
I have 2girls 18mths and 4yrs. The facilities are immaculate, staff amazing (friendly, helpful, & happy)lots of attractions close by, and Studland beach about 20-30min drive away where you can spend all day on the beach - National trust so well kept toilets & nice cafe.
Pitches on site are very well maintained, grass cut short, play area good and looked after. Great chickens on site in a run, can give them left overs or get bag of food from on-site shop for donation to local hospice. Toilets always amazingly clean and always hot water, will be going back for many yearsRead moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Really liked it. The cleanest toilets and bathrooms I've ever"
07-Jun-2011
Really liked it. The cleanest toilets and bathrooms I've ever seen on a campsite. Family bathrooms with all the equipment you could need for baby/toddler. Adventure playground was great for 6 and 4 year olds. We went on a Bank Holiday weekend and it did not seem too crowded. Was just a little bit far from Poole and Dorset, so we spent a lot of time in the car getting to the beach.
