Visited Scottts Farm with my three kids and husband. My kids are 6, 9 and 12 and for the four nights we stayed we hardly saw them as they were in the sandy play area all the time! The beach is about a 10 minute walk and the village is 5 minutes walk. They have Tesco and Co-op which was really helpful for anything we needed. The shop in the reception provided us with the basic camping needs such as tent pegs and sweets for the kids. I was amazed how clean the toilets and showers were all the time and all in all it was an excellent site and we will definitely be visiting again soon!

My friend and I had been going to Scotts Farm for a number of years ... But as the children grow, so did our problems ...
We both had speacial need children with us and they both caused a problem in the summer of 2009, This was sorted out and we confrimed that we would be welcomed back the following year 2010.
We had packed up the kids all excited and we set off for our yearly summer hols for 2010, at scots farm we arrived, only to be told we were BARRED AND NOT WELCOME ... when asked why they replyed , due to the problems we had last year 2009 !!! CRYING kids in the back of the car, we had to return home, as this is the only camp site that charges per tent and not per person !!
SO THEY RUINED OUR HOLIDAYS FOR 2010 AND THEY HAVE NO THOUGHT FOR KIDS WITH SPEACIAL !!!!

My first 'family camping'- lots of fun, good for families and dogs, clean showers, nice nearby walks and beaches and a local pub but quite remote so nice escape. Quite basic though, was really just a field. I imagine you could get something a bit prettier if you'd booked earlier!
