Rosedale Abbey

The children (DS 9 & DD 7) really enjoyed this site - there was a stream running around the edge with rope swings and also a playground. Lots of other children to play with too!

Site staff were friendly and helpful. Quite a big site - think it might get quite noisy in the evenings and the noise curfew isn't till 12 - not great for us.

Minus point was the toilet & shower block. Block itself very modern with good facilities. Sadly throughout the course of the Saturday we were there, it got really dirty with people tramping mud in and didn't seem to be cleaned again after 2pm ish. Still wasn't great in the morning.

Rosedale Abbey a lovely village with 2 lovely looking tea rooms (can only vouch for quality of cakes & coffee at Graze on the Green), a shop and surrounded by lovely scenery
