Nice and clean park. We also visited Brimham Rocks which is owned by the National Trust and is a great day out in fine weather, free entrance you just pay for parking.

"We went to Ripley for our first family camping trip…"

We went to Ripley for our first family camping trip in September 07 and will be returning in September 08. A very friendly, spacious camping site - nice little play area and clean toilets/showers. Shower was a bit hot for DS (then 5) and you couldn't control the temperature. Pitches are level but the ground is quite hard a couple of centimetres down, so good mallet and strong pegs (can't remember what the special name is now!) required. Ripley is a very pretty village with a fab castle. It also has 'Ripley's World Famous Ice Cream' parlour - never heard of it but it was very nice!

This spacious site has loads of space for the kids to run around in and a great adventure playground. The amenities are good, including a brilliant heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and games room plus a covered playroom for small children.
