"Park Farm Campsite is basically a couple of fields opposite"
29-Sep-2009
Park Farm Campsite is basically a couple of fields opposite the farm. You can turn up and pitch anywhere you like in the fields - but because they allow campfires, there are a lot of burnt areas of grass to try and pitch around! Prices are very reasonable - paying per person with no limit on number of tents/gazebos/cars.
Toilet and shower facilities were among the cleanest I have encountered on a campsite and water points are easily accessible around the site. There was also a resident Jacket Potato/Bacon Butty man on site the weekend when we went.
One of the fields has a river running along the edge and there is a woodland area adjacent also. The site is a lovely 30 minute walk along the river to Bodiam Castle; and Bewl Water and numerous other attractions are short drives away.
All in all a very pleasant camping experience!!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
