New House Farm

This campsite was amazing! Just came back from a wonderful 3 nights with my younger 2 children.
It's basic (compost loos - a big hit with my 5 year old son and water taps, what more do you need).

We experienced lambs being born, Farmer Bob took us to see newly hatched chicks and goslings. Nothing was too much trouble for him (even answering a million questions from a curious 4 year old).

I would highly recommend it as a true back to nature camping experience. x

Really great views across the dales, however quite exposed and windy. Very friendly, helpful staff at the farm and they do tours. Can have open fires and there are trees for climbing. I went with 13 month old who was a bit too young to appreciate it, but older kids loved it.
