This camp site is more basic than most, as it has just one toilet block and portaloos. However it is very popular with families that have adventurous kids as it has a stream by it, several trails starting near the campsite, a lake and a canoe hire facility at the camp site.
You can go netting for insects or wade in the water, lots of playmates, and best of all can have a proper campsite. The biggest downside is that the price has gone up a lot in the past few years - but that could be because they are building more facilities at the site.Read moreLessMumsnetter timoteigirl
