"We spent two nights there. Pitch on "Oakfield", I think…"

We spent two nights there. Pitch on "Oakfield", I think it's called. There is a nature trail at the bottom of the field - a small stream and woods - and the kids loved it. Especially good as it was quite hot out in the open. No playground but really didn't need it. Lots of people paddling in the river and picnicking at the field next to the river. Clean showers (and plenty of them) but beware - hot water very hot.
Quiet at night.
Lots of wild rabbits, duck and red kites.
Short walk to perfectly decent pub in Hurley village.Read moreLessMumsnetter UptoapointLordCopper

We spent a lovely peaceful few days here in early July last year.
There were lots of wild rabbits and friendly ducks for the kids to coo over.
There are plenty of toilet/shower blocks which are kept very clean, and have family cubicles.Read moreLessMumsnetter Sazisi

Its not Marlow, it's in Hurley a small village nr Henley on Thames. Lovely campsite also with statics on a seperate site to rent. Riverside location, the park is perfect for picnics, really nice to walk round with a duck/fishing pond. We enjoyed some nice easy bike rides too. We loved it here, stayed for most of last summer with our daughter age 1. There are 2 pubs in the village with more within driving distance.

Excellent layout, very safe for children to run around. No facilities beyond basic, but short walk from the river and not far too nearby villages and towns for pub lunches etc. Very nice indeed. Only criticism is that shower cubicles are too small when you need to shower with children, and the showers are too hot.
