It was our first family camping trip. THe man who showed us to our (large) pitch was extremely helpful. Gave us lots of local information and he did a walk of the site each night and each morning which was reassuring!

Pitches were very big and each pitch had access to electric hook up.

Was close to a main road but far enough away to not hear any noise.

There is an enclosed fishing lake. Toilet block which was very clean, showers which were clean (although we were visiting relatives so i only popped my head round). There is a freezer for use by campers too.

Would not recommend if you need something on site for children to do nor is there anywhere for children to wander off and "explore".Hence my score of 2 for things to do.

Excellent for a base though.
