Hadrian's Wall Campsite

A fantastically clean site, run to military precision. There is a purpose built chalet-style block housing bunk barn (sleeps 4 in one room, 6 in the other, with very comfortable lounge and kitchen area), toilets (3 for each gender), showers (3 each, again), a laundry room and sauna (yes, a sauna!), and a separate bathroom offering good access for guests with physical disabilities.

Good pitches on flat ground near to facilities, and a sloping pitch further away, but with stunning views across the hills (although it's sloping, we pitched our 5' bell tent with no problems). A fantastic base for exploring this area with good access to all the best places along the wall.
